Stefan Rduch (right) is taking on a new challenge in business development at KMF (Precision Sheet Metal).
After four years managing KMF Advanced Solutions division, Mr Rduch's new role will focus on developing sales in the aerospace sector, which is seen as a significant market for KMF's expertise in sheetmetal manufacture and electronic integration.
In his previous role, he grew KMF Advanced Solutions from an empty factory to a business unit that is generating turnover in excess of £4 million, an experience that he says "will remain with me for many years to come".
He says the move to a more commercial role is something he will relish adding: "At KMF we are well placed to work in partnership with leading aerospace manufacturing companies to provide them with a totally outsourced sheetmetal fabrication and integration service, something that we already do for several customers. My new role will be to develop these new partnerships and ensure that KMF is first choice when these businesses are looking to expand their manufacturing capacity."
Mr Rduch is a product of KMF's apprentice training programme, where his enthusiasm was recognised at an early stage. On completion of his apprenticeship, he went on to complete further training, gaining a HNC and HND in Mechanical Engineering, along with level five of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply's qualification.
