New Machine Vision Handbook published by Firstsight

With 40 per cent more information than the previous edition, the new publication features new sections on systems (PCs configured with vision technology), filters, high speed imaging ,UV and IR lighting and comprehensive coverage of the new GigE Vision and GeniCam technology. The handbook is a useful guide to machine vision, since each section features a comprehensive ‘technology overview’, which not only explains clearly how products featured within the section work, but also shows how they can best be applied in machine vision systems. Selecting and ordering of products has also been simplified, with more emphasis on the performance of product ‘series’ as well as full order codes for each product. The Machine Vision Handbook is part of Firstsight Vision’s strategy to work in partnership with customers by adding real value in the selection of machine vision technology.
