Nanofabrica, the manufacturer of the world’s first micron-level additive manufacturing technology, has been awarded the TCT Award for ‘Innovation in Polymer System AM Hardware’.

At the end of September, the third annual TCT Awards ceremony was held at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham. The awards event runs during the TCT exhibition and conference, and is a place where industry leaders celebrate the innovators, technologies and collaborators behind the best examples of Additive Manufacturing (AM), 3D printing, and design and engineering across the globe. At the ceremony, Nanofabrica won the TCT Award for Innovation in Polymer System AM hardware for its micron-level additive manufacturing technology, beating off stiff competition from numerous heavyweights in the sector.

Jon Donner, CEO at Nanofabrica says: “This has been quite a year for Nanofabrica since we announced the commercial launch of our micro additive manufacturing technology, for the first time bringing the benefits of additive manufacturing to the micro and precision engineering community. We’re delighted to have been recognised for our efforts in promoting innovation in this exciting and dynamic sector at the TCT Awards ceremony, and we also appreciate the enormous wave of enthusiasm and support we’re receiving from across industry.”

Tovit Neizer, VP business development at Nanofabrica, adds: “It is humbling to be in receipt of the TCT Award when we see the number and stature of AM innovators we were up against. For us, the honour of receiving the award is enhanced as it reinforces the realisation throughout the whole Nanofabrica team that we are truly innovating in a sector that is so dynamic, and which drives the future of digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0.”
