Mills CNC will hold an open house from 9-10 October

Featuring 16 advanced DN Solutions’ machine tools and a number of innovative automated manufacturing cells, the widely-anticipated event is a ‘must’ for component manufacturers looking to improve their productivity, performance and process efficiencies.

Mills CNC, the exclusive distributor of DN Solutions’ and Zayer machine tools in the UK and Ireland, and a leading supplier of advanced automation systems and solutions to component manufacturers, has announced that it will be hosting an Open House at its Technology Campus facility in Leamington Spa in October 2024.

The two-day event, part of the company’s 50th anniversary celebrations, will take place on Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 October and, with its illuminating and instructive “Pushing the boundaries” title, is focused on helping component manufacturers achieve real and positive change in their respective machine shops.

Tony Dale, Mills CNC’s CEO, said: “The Open House is fast approaching, and anticipation is high. And with good reason.

“The event has been designed to help manufacturers realise their true potential and transform their productivity, performance and process efficiencies. Visitors attending the Open House will be able to get up close and personal to 16 advanced DN Solutions’ machine tools and a number of automated (industrial and collaborative robot) manufacturing cells: all prepped and primed to showcase their speed, accuracy, power and flexibility attributes and credentials.”

The DN Solutions’ machine tool line-up at Mills’ event is impressive and includes best-selling models from its highly-popular DVF series of 5-axis machining centres, its SMX multi-tasking mill-turn machines and its ultra-powerful and flexible vertical turning lathe range.

In addition to innovative machine tools, the ‘transcending boundaries’ theme is further endorsed through the inclusion of a new, ‘never before been seen’ Mills CNC SYNERGi automated manufacturing cell that will make its debut at the event.

This high-productivity, multi-level automated pallet-change system, along with a number of Doosan Robotics’ collaborative robot (cobot) cells also being showcased, is truly transformative and will demonstrate how an investment in automation can deliver real and tangible efficiency, accuracy, processing speed and cost benefits to manufacturers.

Another integral facet of the Open House will be delivered by the company’s CNC Training Academy and how, through its proven CNC operator and programmer courses, manufacturers can get more from their machine tools and address their individual skill shortage issues.

Dale added: “Our two-day Open House promises to be an important, inspirational and ground-breaking event that component manufacturers will not want to miss.”

Manufacturers wishing to attend should, in the first instance, visit the company’s website – www.millscnc.co.uk – to complete the event’s online registration form.

As the event draws nearer, the company will release and upload more details about the machines and automation systems being showcased on its website and social media channels.
