Mark Murray joins XYZ in Scotland
XYZ Machine Tools has strengthened its presence in Scotland with the appointment of Mark Murray, who will look after sales in the south of Scotland from his base in East Kilbride.
Existing salesman in Scotland David McCafferty will focus on the north of the country. XYZ said that it has identified significant growth potential in Scotland by working directly with customers, rather than through distribution.
Murray brings to his role a wide range of experience from his time working for leading blue-chip engineering companies, including eight years of CNC experience gained at a major pump manufacturer in Glasgow.
"This is an exciting opportunity for me to become part of what is a forward thinking and dynamic business. The potential to grow sales in Scotland is fantastic and being here on the ground will provide a much better service for existing and potential XYZ customers," says Murray.
