MACH 2014 - Plasma bevelling head on Ficep’s Gemini HD

Ficep will demonstrate how its latest Gemini HD can cut, drill, machine and scribe using its plasma bevelling head.

The Gemini HD can produce parts from plates from 5 to120 mm thick and 6 to 30 m long – in a single set-up. The new plasma bevelling head is said to be 25% lighter than similar machines, while the scribing system claims to reduce fabrication time and manpower requirements. Ficep UK was recently appointed as the exclusive agent for Ernst machines and at MACH it will show an Ernst deburring machine. Ficep says that Ernst machines are up to seven times more productive and cost effective than traditional grinding methods for deburring and edge-rounding plate components. Stand 4730 in Hall 4
