MACH 2010 – Million pound show for Leader CNC

"We are now expecting orders in excess of £1 million as a result of MACH," said Leader CNC managing director, Rob Prosser.

"There was significant interest in our diverse product range at MACH, with visitors to the stand showing interest in anything from 8 to 10 in chuck lathes up to our large Toshiba VTLs." Leader CNC is the UK agent for the range of Kitamura CNC machining centres, as well as the UK and main european distributor for the Toshiba machine range, that provides the capacity to machine medium to large sized components. The sheer size of the Toshiba range prevented Leader CNC having machines on its stand. Despite this, the company reported overwhelming interest for the range, with power generation and aerospace manufacturers now seriously considering the benefits of the machines. Customers looking for turning solutions showed interest in the DMC turning centres that Leader CNC is the UK agent for, as well as the Spanish-built Unamuno multi-axis lathes. Leader CNC attended MACH 2010 with the aim of highlighting how the company can provide cost-effective machining solutions, regardless of material or component type, component size, or industry sector. Machining solutions are available for companies involved in power generation, oil and gas, construction and aerospace sectors that require: twin and multi-pallet machining centres; vertical turn-only and turn-mill centres; table-type and moving column horizontal boring machines plus universal and 5-axis gantry mills.
