Lubriserv to exhibit working swarf system at MACH 2014

Lubriserv will be exhibiting a fully working swarf system, including a skip-hoist, crusher and centrifuge capable of processing stringy and chipped swarf.

The centrifuge spins the swarf dry, reducing the oil/moisture content down to <1%. This significantly increases swarf resale value and reclaims cutting oil to such an extent that it can cut oil consumption by up to 90%, it is claimed. Return on investment is, unsurprisingly, very quick, the company assures. In addition, Lubriserv will have a display of mobile coolant/oil cleaning equipment for tramp oil and particles, and will be demonstrating a range of Delfin swarf/oil industrial vacuums capable of removing oil/swarf from machine tool sumps and simultaneously filtering and returning the coolant at a rate of 300 l/min.
