Leader Chuck Systems moves for improved logistics

Leader Chuck Systems, the workholding specialist, has outsourced its consignment stockholding and forwarding distribution to a professional logistics company.
With the recent addition of several new workholding solutions providers, including Polish workholding manufacturer Bison-Bial, Leader's previous warehouse was starting to face capacity issues.
Offering more than twice the storage capacity of its previous warehouse, Leader's new distribution logistics facilities in Leamington Spa are centrally located. Good access routes to the motorway network will support a prompt delivery service for customers requiring fixturing solutions.
The company's sales office and administration functions will now be located in a new office in Tamworth, with the existing geographical sales engineers being retained to service customers across the country.
Leader's new address is PO Box 16050, Tamworth, B77 9JP, the company's phone number changes to 01827 700000 and fax to 01827 707777.
Managing director Mark Jones explains the reasoning behind the decision. "With the growth of business provided by new product ranges and the internet, and the imminent launch of our new e-commerce website, we took a strategic decision to put our consolidated shipments and subsequent forwarding services in the hands of a professional logistics company.
"This move will allow us to concentrate on what we are good at," he continued, "providing pre- and post-sales technical workholding support and advice."
