Kurt extends workholding product line through exclusive deal
US workholding specialist Kurt Manufacturing Company has signed an agreement making it the exclusive worldwide distributor of the NEMI vacuum workholding product line as well as NEMI's full line of tooling accessories including tool setters, digitisers and vacuum tables.
Kurt's UK distributor is Carillon Industrial Services. NEMI's vacuum workholding products, says Kurt, are used by the wood, metal and stone industries for applications such as furniture, cabinetry, counter top manufacturing, aerospace, and government contracting. Machine applications include vacuum workholding, as used on small to large CNC machines.
Kurt claims to be the world's largest manufacturer of precision machine vices and custom engineered workholding since it pioneered the precision machine vice with its Anglock design in 1961.
