Hexagon Metrology in co-operation with GE

Hexagon Metrology has entered into a commercial co-operation with GE Measurement & Control Solutions. The collaboration will see the first computed tomography system introduced into Hexagon Metrology's key industry segments within the next few months.

Hexagon Metrology is part of the Hexagon AB Group and includes leading metrology brands such as Brown & Sharpe, Leica Geosystems and Leitz. It boasts a comprehensive global installed base of co-ordinate measuring machines (CMMs), portable measuring systems and handheld instruments, as well as tens of thousands of metrology software licences.
GE sees the collaboration as an ideal match, marrying its expertise as a technology leader in industrial and healthcare computed tomography with Hexagon Metrology's strong presence in a wide range of industrial sectors, its metrology know-how and its market-leading software.
