Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence has added a modular course offering intermediate and advanced programming for PC-DMIS measurement software to its training programmes.

Topics covered include advanced alignments, auto features and reporting, plus scanning, as well as flow control and logic.

Available at both Milton Keynes and Telford training centres, the course is designed to provide an advanced understanding of the metrology process and how PC-DMIS software can be used to further improve efficiency.

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence says the course is ideal for anyone using measurement equipment in the workplace, such as design, engineering and manufacturing personnel, as well as measurement technicians and process planners. And it is suitable for users who have already completed the PC-DMIS Level 1 training programme.

The course comprises a series of modules that allow candidates to undertake either three or five days of study to achieve, respectively, intermediate and advanced certification.

As an enhancement to this course, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence offers a PC-DMIS Expert Level certificate. This requires candidates to attain Level 1, the new modular advanced programming course, plus NPL Levels 1 and 2.

Hexagon's established training programme also includes other courses covering dimensional measurement and portable measuring arms.
