Haas has 12 machines on display on its stand at MACH 2010, as well as two additional machines at vendor booths. The newest machines on offer are the 2010 Haas vertical machining centre, DT-1 drill/tap centre, ST-20SS turning centre and ST-30SS turning centre.

For 2010, the vertical machining centre range has been redesigned to incorporate a wide range of enhancements to improve motion control, coolant containment, chip evacuation, ergonomics and serviceability. The DT-1 is a compact, high-speed drill/tap centre with full milling capabilities. The machine has a working envelope of 508 mm by 406 mm by 394 mm X, Y and Z respectively, with a 660 mm by 381 mm T-slot table. A BT30 taper inline direct-drive spindle offers 15,000 rpm, and supports rigid tapping at speeds up to 5,000 rpm. The ST-20SS is a high-speed turning centre equipped with a 24-station hybrid BOT/VDI turret that indexes tools in half a second. The machine provides a maximum cutting capacity of 254 mm by 521 mm, with maximum swings of 806 mm over the front apron and 527 mm over the cross slide. The ST-20SS's A2-6 spindle nose has a 76 mm spindle bore and a bar capacity of 51 mm. The ST-30 turning centre has a maximum cutting capacity of 533 mm by 660 mm, with maximum swings of 806 mm over the front apron and 527 mm over the cross slide. The spindle bore is 89 mm, with a bar capacity of 76 mm. The machine's 30 hp vector dual-drive spindle spins to 3,400 rpm, and provides 275 ft lb of torque. For heavy cutting operations, an optional 2-speed gearbox is available that boosts torque to 840 ft lb.
