Geoff Jackson appointed managing director of the Bowers Group

Precision measuring solutions provider and member of the Spear & Jackson Measurement Division the Bowers Group has appointed Geoff Jackson as group managing director, with overall responsibility for the Bowers, Baty, Moore & Wright and CV Instruments brands.
Mr Jackson, formerly managing director of Baty International, brings with him a wealth of experience in the measurement industry.

Geoff's impressive experience and long-term industry relationships will serve our company well as we seek to expand our market leadership position."
Mr Jackson began his career as a mechanical and production engineering apprentice for Glacier Metal Company before joining TESA Metrology in 1987 as sales engineer. As he developed his career in the measurement industry, he joined Baty International in 1997 as European sales manager, working his way up to managing director and, ultimately, owner. In 2010, Baty International was acquired by the Bowers Group, with Mr Jackson continuing as managing director.
