Fuji production lathe agency for 600 Centre

See product launches section for more details Fuji is one of the largest dedicated production lathe builders in the world, it having installed 1,250 machines worldwide in 2005. The company is strong in the volume production sectors such as automotive, bearing and transmission. It has, for example, more than 4,300 machine installed in the international car plants of Toyota, representing 70 per cent of the automotive company’s green turning applications. It also has major installations in companies such as Honda, General Motors, Yamaha, Mitsubishi, NSK, GKN, Borg Warner and Nissan. “The Fuji machines are geared to volume production of chuck-based parts. Most solutions incorporate a high level of integrated automation involving turnkey project engineering – a key speciality of 600 Centre," says 600 Centre managing director Ray Grocock. "The agency therefore sits neatly alongside our cell and system expertise involving Toyoda Mitsui Seiki and Fanuc machining centres.”
