FUCHS Lubricants acquires CNC Fluids

Established in 1995 and based in Keynsham, near Bristol, CNC Fluids has become an integral supplier of metalworking and cold forming products to a wide spectrum of manufacturing companies throughout the UK. FUCHS says it will develop this position in the market and build on the high levels of service and quality currently enjoyed by CNC customers. The CNC Fluids product range and the company's customers have transferred over to FUCHS UK. Richard Halhead, FUCHS UK's managing director, commented: "This strategic acquisition strengthens our commitment to the UK and further diversifies our product and customer base." FUCHS is the world's largest independent manufacturer of lubricants and related specialities, with a turnover in excess of €1.7 billion and 34 production plants throughout the world. The UK subsidiary has a manufacturing and distribution operation based in Stoke-on-Trent employing over 250 staff.
