3M's Turbine Blade Application Guide (TBAG) helps turbine engineers find the abrasives, finishing media, high temperature textiles, adhesives, personal protection systems and air tools suitable for the most demanding turbine applications The TBAG helps engineers select products most suitable for the target application based on these 3M technologies. Detailed performance parameters are supplied by part number, allowing the exact solution to be specified from well defined selection criteria. Specific turbine blade applications include stock removal, finishing and blending, adhesives tapes for aluminium, stainless steel nickel alloy and titanium substrates, billet preparation using abrasive belts, forge, cast and machined turbine blade finishing, and the refurbishment of nozzle guide vanes.
