Flat parts measuring machine has no moving parts
Press & Shear Machinery, Tamworth, is the newly appointed agent for the manufacturer, InspecVision, Northern Ireland and now offers the Planar measuring machine for flat parts.
Available in five models with table sizes from 2.85 m sq to 0.35 m sq, Planar is designed to measure automatically the dimensional accuracy of any flat opaque materials, not only sheet metal but also paper, wood, plastic, cloth, cork etc.
Planar is unlike other systems as it has no moving parts, allowing it to be sold at an extremely competitive price with amortisation periods of less than two years easily achievable.
Accuracies ranges from ± 0.025 to ± 0.1 mm, with measurements used to compare dimensional accuracy against a drawing or CAD model, or to reverse-engineer an existing part.
