The Maykestag ‘Speedtwister’ is for trochoidal cutting and suitable for conventional and dynamic milling strategies. With huge cutting depths of up to 5xD, high tech coating technology and optimised tool geometry for perfect chip control, the Speedtwister provides increased productivity and profitability. Combined with the trochoidal milling paths of modern CADCAM systems, it offers substantially increased cutting speed and feed rates, compared to conventional slot milling applications.
