ETG announce first sheetmetal event

On 4 June, the Engineering Technology Group’s (ETG) Fabrication Division will host a sheet metal event in conjunction with its trusted fabrication principal, Durma.

Since announcing the launch of its fabrication division and the collaboration with world-leading brand Durma, enquiries and sales have been overwhelming. At this event, you can see for yourself why the Durma partnership with ETG is creating such a spark in the market.

Hosted by Andrew Smith-Hughes, the Product Manager for ETG’s Fabrication Division, and supported by DURMA sales and technical engineers, the event will include technical presentations on the DURMA HD-F 3015 6kW flatbed fibre laser and the AD-Servo 30175 Press brake.

Following the presentations to showcase the technical merits of these industry-leading machines, ETG will provide live demonstrations of the machines. Putting both machines through their paces, attendees will be invited to ‘look under the hood’ and ask the experts at ETG more pressing questions on the machines that have a build quality and performance level that is the benchmark of the industry.

Durma has more than 1000 machine installations in the UK at businesses that range from world-renowned OEMs and Tier 1s to small subcontract sheet metal manufacturers. At this event, engineers will have the opportunity to see why this benchmark brand in the sheet metal world has made such an impact on UK manufacturers.

Following coffee and registration, ETG’s Fabrication Division experts will present the Durma brand and the two machines on show. This will be followed by live demonstrations and an open Q&A session where you can investigate the brand, the technology and the service further.
