Dormer showcases composite capabilities at MACH

Dormer's primary focus at MACH was on showcasing its tooling capabilities for composite materials, all of which were included in an aerospace brochure, published for the first time at the show.

The MACH stand also previewed Dormer's new product branding for the UK market, Elect and Spectrum. The branding is intended to make it easier for customers to identify which tool is best suited for their application. John O'Donoghue, general manager of Dormer Tools, said: "Our week-long attendance at MACH 2010 was a huge success and a great show of strength by Dormer Tools and the engineering industry as a whole. "The event was a great opportunity to meet customers and partners, new and old, face-to-face and discuss how we can best work together. In the current economic climate, it is vital for the industry to bring together all the high-level expertise that exists across the UK and Europe." Visitors to Dormer's stand were also entered into a prize draw to win a pair of tickets for the 2010 British Grand Prix, at Silverstone, on 11 July. Barry Robinson from Mettis Aerospace, in Redditch, was drawn as the winner.
