DMG/Mori Seiki increase direct sales network in Europe
In line with DMG/Mori Seiki's intention to move its sales model for Europe from dealership to direct sales, long time Italian Mori Seiki dealer Micron S.p.A has been acquired by DMG Mori Seiki Italia SRL, a joint DMG and Mori Seiki company.
Says the official release from Mori Seiki: "The acquisition will enable us to establish a solid direct selling system in all sales territories in Italy and to build a closer relationship with the customers. We will keep all the employees of Micron to provide customers with a higher level of satisfaction through our sales and support activities and optimal solutions."
DMG Mori Seiki Italia SRL is a wholly-owned subsidiary of DMG Mori Seiki Europe - DMG 60%, Mori Seiki 40%.
