DMG Mori supports Porsche's return to the World Endurance Championship

German/Japanese machine tool supplier DMG Mori has become an exclusive premium partner of the Porsche Team, supporting its return to the top category of the World Endurance Championship (WEC) after an absence of more than a decade.

The WEC consists of eight rounds on three continents and includes the Le Mans 24 Hours as the season's highlight. Friedrich Enzinger, vice president LMP1, said: "We are very proud of this partnership for our challenging WEC project." DMG Mori is the joint sales and service operation for DMG Mori Seiki AG and DMG Mori Seiki Co. Machine tool manufacturing is the pair's core segment, with the company operating worldwide at 21 production sites and 146 sales and service locations.
