DMG Mori releases details about Pfronten, Germany Open House in January

DMG Mori is launching six new machine tools at its traditional January Open House event at its Pfronten, Germany factory. They include four new universal milling machines, one lathe and a new generation of ultrasonic machining and grinding machine.

In addition, there will be 84 other machines on show in a 7,400 m2 exhibition area, plus an advanced technologies workshop focusing on additive manufacturing and ultrasonic machining on Thursday, 28 January.

World premières:

  • CTX gamma 3000 tc 2nd generation turn-mill offers 800 mm X travel with the new compactMASTER turn-mill spindle rated at 220 Nm torque
  • DMU 160 P duoBlock 4th generation milling machine, featuring 30% higher precision, performance and efficiency
  • DMU 210 P 2nd generation milling machine, utilising torqueMASTER feature for cutting power with 1,300 Nm torque
  • DMU 600 G linear high-gantry milling machine running linear drives in the X, Y and Z axes for surface quality
  • DIXI 125 milling machine delivering volumetric precision of < 15 µm and positioning accuracy as precise as 3 µm
  • Ultrasonic 20 linear 2nd generation machine offers both compact 5-axis grinding of advanced materials as well as milling
