Coolant and coolant management technology on offer from Jemtech (UK) at MACH 2014

At MACH 2014, Jemtech (UK) will be highlighting the value of the Blaser range of metalworking fluids, Cleanmist extraction systems, Fe-Ol tramp oil removal units and the WaterHog evaporation system (Stand 5031, Hall 5).

All help manufacturing companies to improve productivity and drive manufacturing costs down, says the company, adding that it is confident that it can deliver productivity gains and significant cost reductions through its combination of high quality metalworking fluids and associated products and its expertise in the management of cutting fluids. The Blaser Swisslube range of metalworking fluids will take centre stage, particularly the range of neat oils, which are among the highest performing cutting oils on the global market, the company claims, and which can generate significant cost savings and process improvements over conventional cutting oils. Jemtech (UK) backs these claims with detailed productivity studies that it can carry out for customers, with fully documented reports on the productivity gains and cost savings that will be made by switching to any of the Blaser Swisslube range of products. "By providing these productivity studies to potential and existing customers, we are able to demonstrate quickly and easily the benefits that will be achieved through improved metalworking fluid use and management. So confident are we in our reporting, that we offer customers guarantees that the savings and productivity gains will be achieved," says Stewart Coull, Jemtech (UK)'s commercial director. The correct maintenance and management of metalworking fluids is vital for them to deliver these savings and here Jemtech works with its customers to ensure that they are maximising the benefits. Its "unique service concepts", which can be provided as part of a fluid management package, ensure that metalworking fluids and, as a result, the machine tools are operating in the best possible way. These service concepts involve looking at all aspects of metalworking fluid use, from initial mixing through to disposal. As part of this process, Jemtech (UK) can implement mist extraction systems from Cleanmist that will safeguard the working environment, tramp oil removal via Fe-Ol devices that helps to eliminate any issues with the machine sump and contamination of the machine slideways, plus, when the metalworking fluid needs to be disposed of, Jemtech's WaterHog evaporation system reduces those costs by as much as 95% by evaporating the water from the oil content. "Metalworking fluids are a vital component of the manufacturing process; therefore, it is important that they are discussed in an open and productive way, whether this is part of a potential machine tool purchase or as part of an on-going fluid management programme with existing machine tools. "The savings and gains that can be made by optimising metalworking fluid usage are significant, as our customers ranging from small to medium sized sub-contractors through to blue chip OEMs will testify," says Mr Coull. "MACH 2014 will present the perfect opportunity to get this message across to a wider audience, and at the same time, being in Hall 5, we are in close proximity to many of our machine tool technical partners where we can have more specific and in-depth discussions between Jemtech, customer and machine provider."
