Bowers Group will be exhibiting at Control 2019 (7-10 May, Stuttgart), where from stand 7103 the company will display a variety of gauges, including universal gauges, bore gauges, air gauges and examples of bespoke gauges for a range of special applications.

Also on show will be the Baty VuMaster featuring MK4 software, which has provided this vision system with improved functionality. Elsewhere on the stand, Baty’s Venture XT vision system with version 4 Fusion software, and the Baty SM350 bench-mounted profile projector with FT2-E touchscreen display and Fusion software, will also make an appearance.

Visitors will have the opportunity to witness the Sylcom software from Sylvac, which allows the connection of Bowers instruments either by USB cable or Bluetooth. Continuing the theme of connectivity, the Sylvac Smart and Sylvac Anywhere App is now available on both Android and Apple smart devices, demonstrating connectivity between devices and improving efficiencies with accessible data transfer.

Bowers Group sales director Stuart Millington says: “The main focus for Bowers Group at this point in time is connectivity. Control is the perfect platform to demonstrate how our range of bore gauges, micrometers and indicators all participate in data exchange, enabling measurement instruments to be paired with apps, making receiving data more efficient, and reducing error margins.”

Richard Grocott, Bowers’ export sales director, adds: “As always, Control is a much anticipated date for Bowers Group. Last year was a hugely successful exhibition, and we’re very much looking forward to returning. In addition to finding out more about how our products improve efficiency with effective data transfer, visitors will once again have the chance to see our selection of bespoke equipment aimed at special measurement challenges. Specials include solutions for the measurement of grooves, threads, splines and sphericals which are fully compatible with Bowers XT range of digital bore gauges and include optional Bluetooth.”
