At a three-day Open House event, Citizen Machinery UK will unveil four important new machines.

"These machines will prove significant in providing enhanced levels of productivity and flexibility to integrated turn-milling cycles, with, in particular, Citizen providing an option whereby all the advantages of sliding-head machining can be applied to an extended bar capacity of 35 mm for the eagerly awaited new generation of the top-of-the-range Citizen M32," said Geoff Bryant, managing director, Citizen Machinery UK. "This enhancement to capacity brings all the advantages of a sliding head machine, without any restrictions to machining cycles, thus maintaining the practicality of handling and use of larger material for bigger part sizes." In addition to the latest M32-Vlll will be the new Citizen L20X and from Miyano - its range topping ABX 64SYY and popular mid-range BNA 42DHY. Also, a further six models of Citizen and Miyano machines will be under power featuring the latest enhancements that will include six models drawn from Citizen's popular A- and K-Series plus Miyano's best selling BNJ-Series. Visitors will also be able to view the newly opened, remodelled 2,200 sq ft pre-owned showroom and demonstration centre adjacent to the Park Avenue headquarters, where used Citizen and Miyano machines will be in various stages of readiness for customers. Other companies that will be involved in machine demonstrations and displaying their products will be: Sandvik Coromant; Iscar; Floyd Automatic Tooling; Iemca; LNS Turbo UK; Imacco; Optimum Oils; and Heinbach (UK).
