CGTech will feature the 2010 VERICUT Virtual Machining Gallery on stand 400 at Aero Engineering.

The gallery features all types of CNC machine tools, including complex multi-axis machines from leading manufacturers such as DMG, Mori Seiki, Mazak, Makino, Starrag Heckert and Matsuura. The gallery also features examples of integration with leading CAM systems used in aerospace companies such as Catia V5, Siemens NX, Pro/E, MasterCAM, Delcam PowerMill and Open Mind HyperMill. VERICUT has become a world-wide standard in the aerospace industry for optimising CNC machining and eliminating on machine prove-outs. Illustrating this will be examples of multi-axis aerospace applications including blade machining, large airframe components, aero engine components. In addition to traditional machining applications the gallery also includes examples of simulation projects in the aerospace sector involving parallel kinematic machines, robots, water jet cutting, composite drilling and trimming, and riveting and fastening. Visitors to the CGTech stand will be offered the VERICUT Virtual Machining Gallery as a CD and the gallery can also be viewed on line at the link below. CGTech will also be demonstrating VERICUT Composite Applications which are machine-independent off-line programming and simulation software solutions for automated fibre placement (AFP) CNC machines. AFP technology is being driven by the increasing use of composites in the next generation of fuel efficient aircraft.
