Centreless grinding support service unveiled

Two engineers will be involved with the so-called research and development facility to provide full time cover for machine trials and turnkey projects, with additional specialist knowledge and guidance from the company's technical support manager. The facility resides within the company's 60,000 sq ft Grinding Technology Centre in Tamworth, within a brand new 5000 sq ft area. Having a wide choice of machines available provides a number of key benefits for engineering companies, and makes the correct machine choice that much easier, says the company. To aid this, the research and development facility can accommodate machine and tool trials, process capability studies and low volume prototype work.
