Blum measures up aerospace opportunities from MACH 2010

MACH 2010 generated some exciting leads for Blum NovoTest in the aerospace industry. The exhibition was an opportunity for Blum to present its new range of touch probes and FormControl 5-axis contour measurement software, alongside well established products like the LaserControl NT-H 3D and the Z-Probe series for tool setting and measurement.

Reflecting upon the exhibition, Blum Novotest director, Mr David Mold commented: "MACH 2010 gave us a remarkable level of leads and the quality of the leads far exceeds the quality we received in 2008. The products on our stand were very well received, but what was most prominent for us was the enquiry level from engineers at large aerospace OEMs that currently use our equipment in other departments. We are very excited at the prospect of possibly introducing our equipment to some large projects at aerospace, medical and motorsport OEMs." "New Blum developments excited visitors to our stand and, as a result of discussions at the show, our offerings will be considered as alternatives to competitor products that are causing issues for companies at present. In the midst of a difficult economic period for industry, MACH 2010 will undoubtedly be a shot in the arm for Blum Novotest and the wider industry."
