The UK dealer of Hardinge, Chiron and Nakamura-Tome machine tools, among others, will show off its machines in a brand-new showroom that opens in June.

It is celebrating the occasion with a grand opening, 10-12 June, at its headquarters in Southam, Warwickshire.

The showroom line-up also includes machines from Stama, Handtmann, Bridgeport, Quaser, and tool and work holding products from ETG Workholding and Hyfore, as well as displays and expertise from ETG's dedicated finance experts, Factory Wiz and the Engineering Solutions team.

ETG promises that the showroom will have a range of equipment ranging from entry-level machines to turn-key solutions. There will also be live demonstrations and staff will be available to discuss machines.

The open house comes as the company opens a new 17,500 ft2 facility in Wellesbourne, near Warwick. It will house pre-delivery inspection and turnkey operations, the service and spares operations and a dedicated undercover reception area for new machine tools arriving from around the globe.

The group is re-locating about 20 personnel there from other premises in Southam and Coventry.

Managing director John Temple said that the investment will streamline new machine installations: "With our pre-delivery inspection and turnkey engineering teams now working together under one roof the combination of resources from two split locations will make the operation smoother and more efficient for the benefit of customers."
