With global demand for secondary industrial assets rising, Apex Auctions is moving into the Eastern market and opening an office in the Gurgaon region of Delhi, India.

"The opening of the new Indian office is about bringing our services to an important and growing customer base," says marketing manager Adam Taylor. He explains that the Indian and Far Eastern markets have been developing rapidly, so more surplus assets are now coming on to the market. "Bringing sellers and buyers together is an important step in ensuring this market trade can thrive and facilities can get the equipment they need to boost production," says Taylor. "We have reached a strong point in the business [in India and the Far East] and are excited to bring the first online industrial auction platform to India," states Taylor. Manoj Kumar, who has worked in similar roles for GE, Tata Steel - SAIL and India Engineering (BFL Group), will head up the Delhi office. All auctions run by the new office will be held at www.apexauctions.in.
