Sandvik Coromant has further strengthened its UK aerospace team with the addition of three key personnel.
The three are: Andy Smith, senior manager aerospace business development, Paul Smith, aerospace application centre manager and Ashley Battison, aerospace business development manager.
The expanded team will continue to offer a range of services and application support for the differing requirements of both frame and engine to assist customers in significantly increasing productivity and reducing manufacturing costs.
Sandvik’s aerospace capabilities and experience are underpinned by the aerospace research and development facilities in Sandviken, Sweden and Halesowen and also its tier one collaboration with the AMRC (Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre) in Sheffield, providing the opportunity to access, share and develop manufacturing principles to bring new solutions to advanced aerospace production.
