600 Group's new Colchester-Harrison VMC range unveiled
The first of the new Colchester-Harrison brand vertical machining centres has been unveiled.
Vertical machining centres from the 600 Group were previously sold under the Richmond brand, but following a change of Group stategy (see 'Brand new strategy' article in Technology Zone), which has seen the combining of the two lathe brands of Colchester and Harrison, vertical machining centres are now part also of this brand family.
The first machine is the mid-range Storm VMC 1020 vertical machining centre, having x, y and z-axis travels of 1,020, 510 and 560 mm, respectively.
