600 Group wins £4.4 million Airbus order
The 600 Group has reported the winning of a £4.4 million contract for the supply of four Mitsui Seiki horizontal machining centres and a Fastems materials handling system to Airbus UK.
Delivery is anticipated in the first half of next year.
It has also won a £1 million order from the World Bank for the supply of machine tools to Sudan, with delivery expected during the second half of this year.
The orders were revealed as part of a trading statement late last month. The company also revealed that supply of centre lathes from China is not yet at a volume to satisfy its order book requirements.
