Measurement skills - enough said?
Over the years, companies have claimed to produce quality parts. Once it was good enough to say you had CNC machines; then BS5750) which became ISO 9000; then if you had a CMM you were clearly able to make high quality parts; but now its seems it is not enough if you don't have adeuqte measurement skills on the shopfloor, and UK industry doesn't.
