The main theme for the show is the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies, an initiative supported by UNESCO, among organisations.

Following that theme, Trumpf claims that its Open House will stage the most impressive demonstration of laser machines yet, including a world premiere of a new 2D fibre laser cutting machine.

The show is also the first outing for the TruMark 5010 laser marker, which combines laser, scanner, controls and internal focus position control in a single housing.

Also getting its first UK showing is the TruBend 3066 pressbrake. The TruPunch 2000 is also to be shown.

Other machines on show include a new mobile marker, TruPunch 3000 with SheetMaster Compact automation, TruLaser 3030 with 5 kW CO2 laser, TruBend pressbrakes from Series 3000, 5000 and 7000, TruBend Cell 7000 fully automated bending cell and TruMark Station 5000 marking laser.

The company's Open House coincides with the opening of the TRUMPF TruServices Centre at Luton.Visitors will be able to see the wide scope of what TRUMPF offers from finance and pre-used machinery sales to tooling, programming and production consultancy.
