The new, purpose-built facility is located in Derby, alongside the Rolls-Royce factory on Raynesway. It is easily accessible from the A52 and the M1, and boasts ample parking.
The event will give visitors the opportunity to appreciate Star’s new home and also view the company’s range of sliding-head lathes. On view will be the all-new successor to Star’s flagship SR-32J machine, the SR-32JII, with this showing being ahead of the machine’s official 2017 release.
Also on display will be an array of Star’s most popular lathes, including the small diameter SB-12RG and SW-12RII; the larger SR-38B and ST-38 machines; and the popular SR-32J and SR-20RIV Type B.
The Star team will be on hand to offer expert advice and insight, as will be selected partners, who will do likewise for ancillary equipment and supplies.
The event opens at 9:30 each day, closes at 18:00 on the Wednesday and Thursday, and at 17:00 on the Friday. Refreshments and lunches will be provided for all attendees.
