Nikon Metrology opens the doors of its new UK demonstration facility in Castle Donington, Leicester for a two-day event (repeated programme) on high-volume in-line inspection

Morning session:

  • Technical introduction to in-line inspection
  • Robotic demonstration on complete vehicle BIW (body in white) sub-assembly
  • Automated demonstration on BIW sub-assembly
  • Application into practice: Nikon Metrology success story from USA - Robot In-line inspection

Afternoon session:

  • Technical introduction to high accuracy robotic assembly systems
  • New product launch demo
  • Robot scanning (another source of intelligence in the robot cell)

Keynote speaker: Tony Smith from Nottingham University, giving a presentation on the future of aircraft automated assembly

9.30am - 3.00pm
