Leader CNC Open House

1 min read

Leader CNC will be opening its doors and demonstrating the capabilities of its DMC/DMS range of turning centres and Kitamura machining centres from 18 to 20 November.

The range of DMC and DMS machines from Ilrim NanoTec Group will be an opportunity for UK customers to view the machines in detail since the company acquired a controlling interest in SMEC (Samsung Machine Tool Engineering Company). As well as manufacturing machine tools these companies produce high added value components such as oil coolers and hydraulic systems for the construction of many machine tools manufacturers. The event at Leader CNC’s headquarters in Nuneaton will have a selection of cost-effective turning centres, with capabilities and productivity levels that will whet any appetite. Machines on show will include turn only, turn/mill and gang-type CNC lathes. The lathe specifications include efficient chip removal systems, 10- or 12-station block or VDI turrets, tool-setters, powerful spindle motors and unsurpassed stability that makes them ideal for hard turning and operations that demand a high level of precision. For enhanced productivity the range of machines offers options that include collet chucks, part catchers and sub-spindles. Leader CNC will also be demonstrating machines from the Kitamura range of machining centres. The company will equip a machine with a calibration system, allowing customers to check and monitor machine accuracy over a period of time, confirming that part accuracy and consistency are only as good as the production equipment.
