This will enable new economies of scale for products that currently have struggled to progress beyond academia or small scale manufacturing. Additionally it will enable new products to be developed that current production technology is unable to manufacture.
This one day networking event is organised by the EPSRC Centre in Ultra Precision and hosted by the Institute for Manufacturing, University of Cambridge, will examine the existing industrial and medical applications this new platform will address for both manufacturing scale-up and look to new innovations that will now be possible utilising the unique hybrid processing machine.
