Filtermist equips CSX oil mist extractor with integral cyclone separator

Filtermist's CSX compact footprint portable oil mist extraction system is equipped with an integral cyclone separator making it suitable for heavy duty applications such as wet grinding. The cyclone also increases service intervals by removing large amounts of oil and debris before it enters the Filtermist unit.
The Filtermist CSX draws the air containing the coolant and grinding dust into the stand where it can be easily removed. The pre-filtered air then passes through the extraction unit as usual, increasing the efficiency of the operation.
The stand has been developed to enable ongoing servicing to be carried out at ground level – without ladders, hoists or platforms – or without needing to comply with Health and Safety working at heights regulations. Four lockable castors mean the system can be manoeuvred into position quickly and easily – eliminating the need for any additional stands or brackets.
As well as grinding, the Filtermist CSX has also been developed for use in operations such as machining brass and aluminium, which often produce high quantities of small metal chips that can block less robust filter systems.
The CSX can be used with any of the current Filtermist FX units, from FX5002 to FX7002.
