UP to 100 per cent improvement promise from Kennametal

The “100% Perfect” campaign offers companies the opportunity to switch to Kennametal and substantially boost productivity, says the company. “Kennametal guarantees that the selected high-performance product will boost the customer’s metal-cutting output by up to 100 per cent,” says Frank Wei, Kennametal’s lead manager for the program, “Otherwise, there is a 100 per cent refund if the promise is not met.” More than 1400 product items are part of the program, including turning, indexable milling, end milling, holemaking, and shrink-fit and hydraulic toolholding systems. Each product type is offered with a specific percentage-improvement guarantee, from 25 to 100 per cent, based on application and comparison to competitive tools. Improved performance is defined as producing more parts per hour or more parts per cutting edge (longer tool life) or a combination thereof. Orders must be received by June 30, 2006, after which the program ends.
