Russia-based IPG IRE-Polus, a division of fibre laser source expert IPG, is to sell the its new LaserCube precision flatbed with the Radprofile module for programming it, along with a special post-processor and set of macros.

IPG’s LaserCube flat-bed cutter (pictured) is optimised for precision cutting small parts. Using high force linear motors built on a granite stage, it has the stability and acceleration for high speed precision machining. Utilising IPG’s fibre lasers and cutting head technology, the LaserCube is said to be inherently reliable with low operating and part-processing costs.

At the end of October, IPG IRE-Polus’s headquarters in Moscow hosted a special Radan training seminar, conducted by an engineer from Dreambird, Radan’s official Russia and CIS distributor.

Delegates learned about the module’s functionality and interface, set-up specifics and parameter input, and also gained practical experience of developing NC programs for LaserCube machine tools.

Dreambird’s marketing specialist, Ada Lakevich, says: “By offering Russian manufacturers a flatbed laser cutting system with integrated Radprofile CADCAM, IPG IRE-Polus provides a full one-stop-shop solution to their machining needs.”
