Corsham-based independent toolholding specialist Gewefa UK has signed off 2017 with a record order book.

The firm will also be exhibiting at Southern Manufacturing and MACH 2018 in the new year.

Explains Gewefa UK managing director Keith Warner: “While undoubtedly there has been uncertainty at periods during the year, we look back on 2017 as being a very successful for our own brand toolholding products as well as the equipment we represent on behalf of our partners.

“In fact in the year, we secured an aerospace order for a programme of toolholders that was the largest ever placed with the UK company.”

Gewefa continued to introduce new products and its partners – Pibomulti, EWS, OTT-Jakob, Nann and Rineck – all reported positive responses to their products and their respective new equipment introductions – a number of which debuted at EMO.

With the two major shows on the horizon for the New Year, Gewefa will be taking the opportunity to introduce further new products with early indications that Pibomulti, EWS and OTT-Jakob will also have new products on view.

Concludes Warner: “Visibility at exhibitions plays an important part in our marketing activity – there is nothing better than face-to-face contact.”
