French consultancy aims to improve upon lean

M-TECH UK, Leicester is to make French consultancy Secteur Productique’s services available to UK firms.

To be officially launched at MACH (NEC, Birmingham, 15-19 May) the consultancy revisits existing projects for lean manufacture to provide significant improvement in Overall Equipment Effectiveness. And in the case of the new Airbus A380 project, it has provided innovative factory plans right through to the implementation taking in final layout, staff training, sub-assembly component logistics as well as equipment efficiency.
