Ceratizit Group has further enhanced its support for high technology, high added value, industries in the UK with the announcement of its membership of the North West Aerospace Alliance (NWAA).

The NWAA represents over 750 businesses in the north west of England, ranging from blue chip OEMs to sub-contract manufacturers and their suppliers.

The scale of the group provides opportunities to shape government policy on manufacturing strategy and investment, as well as working with industry and academic partners to develop new technologies.

Says MD Tony Pennington: “The Ceratizit Group’s involvement with the aerospace sector is a longstanding one, therefore accepting the invitation to join the NWAA is a logical step forward. In line with other leading associations that the Ceratizit Group is a member of, we will look forward to playing an active role in developing partnerships and technical alliances with other members.”

Speaking on behalf of the NWAA, Sharon McDonald, head of marketing & communications, adds: “We would like to give a very warm welcome to the Ceratizit Group as our latest NWAA member. We look forward to working with the Group in the future and offering a warm welcome to them as they attend our Winter Member's Forum on 6 December.”
