Starrag spotlights aero structures at tech event

A host of new process solutions for the machining of aluminium, titanium and nickel alloy structural parts for the aerospace industry will be showcased by Starrag at its Aero Structures Technology Days.

In addition to seeing displays and demonstrations of a range of machines designed for the cost-effective and highly-accurate production of such workpieces, visitors to the event will also be able to hear a keynote presentation by Charlie Newell, chief of Orizon Aerostructures, Kansas City, USA, as well as view the manufacture of business jets at the nearby site of Pilatus Aircraft, which uses a Scharmann Ecospeed FMS.

The event is being held in Rorshacherberg, Switzerland on 23 and 24 January 2018.
