Up to three times more productivity with Siemens NX 10
The latest version of NX software (NX 10) from Siemens includes new capabilities that deliver enhanced product development flexibility and up to three times higher productivity, says the company.
Tools like the '2D Concept Development' solution have been introduced to make it easier and faster to create designs, while enhancements to NX 'Realize Shape' software, an integrated sub-division modelling environment, give designers more flexibility to produce unique shapes, says Siemens.
An optional touch-enabled interface provides expanded access to the design capabilities of NX, while tighter integration to PLM software, through Siemens' 'Active Workspace' environment, reduces the amount of time spent searching for product information.
NX 10 also offers multiple enhancements throughout the integrated CAD/CAM/CAE solution. These include the NX CAE multi-physics environment which enhances integration by connecting two or more 'solvers' to streamline the process of performing complex simulations.
