The ML chipbreaker is ground specifically to reduce cutting forces and built-up edges, thus enhancing tool life and surface finish.
The range is based on a double-sided, negative-type ground insert that provides customers with a high number of cutting edges per insert. Suitable for machining at depths of cut up to 1.5 mm with cutting speeds beyond 40 m/min, the negative 35° rhombic insert line is currently available with TaeguTec's PVD coated TT5080 grade and the uncoated K10 insert grade.
